FRC Annual Gala Recap!21st Spring Gala

On Saturday, April 17th, Family Resource Center celebrated its 21st Anniversary at FRC's Annual Spring Gala.

As part of the Spring Gala, FRC honored the 15th Anniversary of its very successful China Adoption Program.

Family Resource Center - Custom Made Jewelry

Family Resource Center has collaborated with Yianni Vardis, of Alithea Design-New York to create beautiful custom jewelry made especially for FRC. Each piece represents a child with two adults and speaks to the experiences of all members of the FRC community. We are excited to offer our supporters the opportunity to order silver pendants, cuff links and charms incorporating this image.

Grandparents for FRC

At FRC we are keenly aware that grandparents play an important role the lives of their children and grandchildren. In December of 2001 we introduced a program to recognize and honor the contribution that grandparents make to their families. Our Grandparents for FRC program features social gatherings, including a High Tea and a Grandparents Day Celebration.  Grandparents also have unique opportunities to participate in projects that promote the mission of FRC.  These projects include assistance with special event planning, helping to prepare mailings, holiday card and raffle ticket sales, office help, and FRC's holiday toy drive. 

We treasure our FRC Grandparents and welcome and encourage their participation and support.  If you would like to be included in Grandparents for FRC event mailings, please contact FRC's Angela Bartle at abartle@f-r-c.org or call her at (773) 334-2300 to update your information.  FRC Parents, if you feel that this is a program that your parents would be interested in, please submit their information. 

Voices for Adoption - FRC wants to spread the word about who we are and what we do. We hope to create a team of volunteers who go to local schools, doctor's offices, etc. and provide them with our adoption information and material. If you would be willing to take a few FRC poster boards (actual size is 12" X 18") to locations where potential birth mothers might be - you would be making a huge contribution to our outreach efforts. We want more women facing an unplanned pregnancy to know that adoption is an option, and that Family Resource Center is ready, willing and waiting to help.
