Since 1987 Family Resource Center (FRC) has been beacon of hope from birth mothers, adoptive families and children placed for adoption – providing compassionate, straight forward and down-to-earth adoption services.  Family Resource Center has worked with thousands of prospective adoptive parents who wanted to adopt - and - men and women who were thinking about placing children for adoption. 

At Family Resource Center (FRC) we specialize in providing a wide range of domestic adoption services - including our "traditional adoption" program, assistance to potential adoptive parents who want to take an active role in reaching out to birth parents on their own, and our African-American adoption program.  We provide comprehensive "stand alone" home study services in Illinois.  We have an in-house international adoption program for families interested in adopting from China. For information about our China program please click this link - Chinese Adoption . We also have experience helping to guide families through the process of adopting orphans from all around the globe, including, but not limited to; Vietnam, Guatemala, Ethiopia, Russia and Ukraine. 

For many the decision to adopt a child, or place a child for adoption, begins a life long journey. Over the years we have come to believe that learning about adoption and embracing a spirit of openness is good for all parties in adoption - birth parents, adoptive parents, and the children they love.  At the same time at Family Resource Center we believe that the people we serve are best able to make decisions for themselves.  It is not or job to manage other people's lives.  Our job is to assist adoptive parents and birth parents in becoming aware of their rights and options so that they can make decisions that are well considered and right for themselves.  This is why our motto is "Our Help, Your Decisions"./p>
