FRC 1st Annual Bowl-A-Thon

FRC is holding its First Annual Bowl-A-Thon and is looking for participants of all ages for a fun afternoon of bowling and fund-raising. Participants will bowl and become eligible for prizes based on their ability to secure pledges.                           

Bowling experience is not necessary; all you need to bring is your enthusiasm!

How much does it cost to participate?                                                                              The entry fee is only $15 per bowler!  Your entry fee covers lane fees, shoe rentals, pizza and soda.  FRC highly encourages each bowler to raise at least $150 in sponsor pledges. 

Special Guest!                                                                                              NBC 5 Meteorologist, Ginger Zee, will be on hand to kick-off the festivities!

Why should I participate?                                                                                               This is an opportunity for the Family Resource Center community to join together to participate in this fun and spirited event.  You don't have to be a skilled bowler - just an enthusiastic one!  Funds generated from this important event will allow FRC to continue its meaningful mission of never turning away a child in need. Can I win prizes?                                                                                                         Every time you knock down a pin, you're not only scoring points for Family Resource Center but you are also racking up points towards lots of great individual prizes (you can select one prize from your pledge level).  All you need to do is register to become part of a five person bowling team, and collect at least $50 in pledges from sponsors such as friends, neighbors, relatives and acquaintances.  There will also be door prizes given away at the event.  Click on the links to read the prize rules and download the prize list.

Interested in being a Team Captain?                                                                                 Being a team captain is a great way to be a leader for this event.  Please read through the Team Captains's responsibilities and the requirements to starting your team.  Complete the Bowler Registration Form for your team.  Retain a copy for yourself and submit the original to Angela Bartle by mail at 5828 N. Clark Street, Chicago, IL  60660.  Include the entry fee of $75 ($15 from each bowler).  If you don't have a team of 5 - just submit $15 per bowler and FRC will add bowlers to complete your team.

Interested in being an Individual Bowler?                                                                        Want to bowl in this wonderful event but don't have a team?  No problem!  Please read the Bowler Responsibilities.  Complete the Bowler Registration Form and submit the original to Angela Bartle by mail at 5828 N. Clark Street, Chicago, IL  60660.  Include your entry fee of $15.  When FRC receives your registration form, they will place you on a team and notify your team captain who will contact you.
