International Adoption
While Family Resource Center is adoption agency licensed in Illinois, we are also an international placement agency with an in-house China Adoption Program We have been working with the China Center for Adoption Affairs since 1994 and have assisted more than 380 families adopt from China. Because our program is in-house we work adoptive parents from start to finish: conduct the homestudy; guide them in putting together their dossier; have the documents notarized, authenticated and consulate sealed; provide formal training as well as informal travel preparation advice; accompany travel groups to China; provide a bi-lingual guide; then complete the international adoption post-placement requirements once families return home.
